Cartridge mechanical seals of RDT-48A family are designed for high pressure applications, such as hot water, light hydrocarbons, including VOCs, crude oil and other hazardous and chemically aggressive liquids at oil refineries and petrochemical plants, chemical plants, power plants, gas producing and oil transportation.
RDT-48A family seals are used for the same applications as the followings seals:
H7/H75/SH by Burgmann Germany
QBQ/DHTW by Flowserve, USA
8B/59/58/RREP by John Crane, USA
Advantages
- Square cross section faces are excelent for high pressure applications
- Stationary springs allow for high speed
- Impeller design ensures good frictional heat removal
- Up-to-date materials are used for seal faces
- Hastelloy C material for springs guarantees that chloride stress corrosion never happens.
