Cartridge dual welded metal bellows mechanical seals of SDVT family are mainly designed for highly aggressive fluids at petrochemical and chemical plants.

SDVT family seals are used for the same applications as the followings seals:
MFL65N by Burgmann Germany
BH/BXW by Flowserve, USA
670/680/676 by John Crane, USA

Advantages

  • Due to use of metal bellows there is not a single dynamic o-ring. Inexpensive chemically resistant static o-rings can be used to cut the costs.
