Dry Gas Seal SGDU-210
Description
SGDU 210 is a very compact dry gas seal for centrifugal compressors. It is not easy to make a compact gas seal for high pressure because of face stress and deformation. But SGDU 210 gas seal features stress optimized faces which allow it to be used in high pressure natural gas transportation compressors. Due to its’ compact size, SGDU 210 gas seal can be also installed in most compressors at oil refineries and petrochemical plants.
Advantages
- Shoulded rotary disks prevent critical damage in case of disk failure
- No pins – no points of possible dynamic stress concentration
- Secondary seal disk cannot overload during primary seal failure, by design, not by I&C
- Tungsten carbide/carbon seal faces
- Very compact design allows to fit the seal in most equipment
